1. Information We Collect

Behaviour Buddy collects the following information when you create an account:

Email address — used for authentication and account recovery.
Nickname — a display name chosen by the user.
Age — used to tailor the learning experience.

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers. We do not access your contacts, photos, or other account data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data solely to:

Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
Track learning progress and coin rewards within the app.
Display your chosen avatar and nickname.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore) and is protected by Firebase Authentication. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access is restricted to authenticated users viewing only their own data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase Authentication — for secure sign-in.
Cloud Firestore — for data storage.
Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — for social authentication.

5. Children's Privacy

Behaviour Buddy is designed for use by children under parental or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent. Parents or guardians create and manage accounts on behalf of children.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Profile screen in the app. Upon deletion, your profile data and learning progress will be permanently removed.
